Deer Park Cardinals 1 Sonny Terrazas pitched 7 innings before being removed in a 1-1 game in the 8th inning. Joseph Kantz pitched two scoreless innings for the save. Derek David scored two runs.. Bob Pfaff drove in the winning run with a sharp single of the Cardinals submariner. In the 8th Jimmy Hardinbrook single plated two more as the throw got away from the catcher, this gave the Apollos a 4-1 lead..
Playoff Game 2 Winners Bracket Championship Apollos 14 Deer Park Cardinals 2 Alex Dutka pitched six solid innings allowing one run. The Apollos offense was lead by homers from Bob Pfaff, Marcos Quinones (6 rbis) and Sonny Terrazas as well

Derek David went 4-4 with 4 rbis and 3 runs.
Andrew Dunn went 3-3 with three runs to lead the Apollos. Justin Loftin started the game for the Apollos as Sonny Terrazas failed to arrive in time for his start Justin threw 4 scoreless innings getting two key double plays to escape runs. Sonny threw 3 scoreless innings and Marcos Quinones struck out two in the final inning.
Game 10 Apollos 10 Metro Astros 4
Mike Wilson, Marcos Quinones and Kevin Bobo returned from injury to lead the Apollos. Andrew Dunn went 3-5 with 3 runs and 2 rbi's. Marcos Quinones hit two sac flies and walked. Mike Wilson had 4 rbi's with two doubles. Pitching Sonny Terrazas went 5 innings to get the win...he allowed 3 runs in the first inning mainly because his pickup move is terrible. He then settled down and didn't allow a run until the 5th. Marcos Quinones pitched 1 inning not allowing a baserunner. Justin Loftin pitched one inning not allowing a baserunner. The regular season is now complete.
Game 9 Apollos victory DP Cardinals Forfeit
Game 8 Apollos 11 Spring Stallions 7 This was a Friday night contest that was 9 on 9, neither team had a sub and the Apollos picked a guy up off the street. Brandon Connor lead the way going 3-3 with 3 runs and two bunt hits and a triple with 2 rbi's and two steals. Clifton Siems, Josh Kurkistain and Matt Zajac all scored two runs. Pitching Andrew Dunn started and threw two scoreless innings. Clifton Siems allowed two runs in one inning. JT Thompson pitched 4 innings allowing 5 runs. All runs were unearned.
Game 7 Apollos 10 Mudcats 3 The Apollos faced historical HMABL Powerhouse the Mudcats and jumped to a 9-0 lead powered by Sonny Terrazas 4-4 with HR, double, 2 runs and 2 RBI's. Clifton Siems went had two RBI sac flies and a triple. Alex Dutka pitched the entire game not allowing an earned run. The Mudcats scored three in the 7th on a variety of Apollo errors.
Gmae 6 Apollos 20 Panthers 5 The Apollos faced a rare game with a 25+ team and the age difference eliminated any contest. It isn't always a good idea to schedule 18+ teams against 25+ teams. Sonny Terrazas broke the starting pitcher's glasses with a one hop line drive the got him in jaw.. He was ok but had to be removed..Bob Pfaff caught his first complete game since 2003. Mike Estrada homered, Sonny Terrazas hit two ropes.. David Dorner hit a foul ball that hit the house on the other side of the street at Westbury. Sonny pitched 5 inning for the win. Dorner pitched one
Game 5 Apollos 11 Metro Astros 3 The Apollos played a very good game and remained sole possesion of first place in the city league. Russell Revere threw 5 great innings only allowing two runs. Jason Thompson threw 2 innings allowing one run. Jimmy Hardinbrook and Matt Zajac lead the way, Jimmy going 3-3 with a double a triple and three runs scored...Matt also reached three times and scored runs. Gabe Howell became the third Apollo to homer in his first at bat. Defense was solid, only one error (from Eddie Valenzula).
Game 4 Apollos 10 Katy Braves 2 The Apollos won this game with ease but left 11 base runners on base. Alex Dutka pitched 4 shutout innings not allowing a hit. Kenny Stanley allowed two runs walking 5 in 1-1/3 inning before being removed for wildness. Josh Kurkstian pitched 1-2/3 inning without allowing a run he allow homered and walked twice. David Dorner scored two runs, doubled, walked twice and had a sacrifice. Andrew Dunn was 3-3 with 2 walks.
Game 3 Apollos 16 Spring Stallions 3 Clifton Siems lead the Apollos by going 5-5 with 5 runs scored and 4 rbis and 1 stolen base. It was the fourth time in team history a player has gotten 5 hits in a game (David Moore, Andrew Dunn, Mike Wilson). Josh Kurkstain and Andrew Dunn also had 2 rbi triples. The Stallions had a real solid pitching staff, their defense/offense has yet to come together. Pitching for the Apollos was Sonny Terrazas who threw 4 innings allowing 1 run. Chris Gibson pitched an inning allowing 1 run. David Dorner pitched an inning allowing 1 run. Andrew Dunn pitched the final inning. Mike Estrada made a major league play on a ball in the hole
Game 2 Apollos 13 Deer Park Cardinals 5 The City League's best two teams played the first of two regular season games. The game remained 0-0 until the 4th inning when Mike Estrada's solo homer gave the Apollos the 1-0 lead, the Apollos added 2 in the 6th on Dave Dorner's RBI double and 2 in the 7th on Bob Pfaff's RBI single then added 8 the 8th inning to have a 13-1 lead. The Cardinals scored 4 in the bottom of the 8th to end the game. Bob Pfaff and Andrew Dunn lead the way with 3 hits. Clifton Siems and Mike Estrada two hits. On the mound Alex Dutka started and pitched 3 innings not allowing a hit. Chris Gibson pitched one sandwich inning and allow didn't allow a hit. Sonny Terrazas pitched 3-1/3 innings (3 good innings struggling in the last) Mike Estrada came on to get the last two outs.
Game 1 Apollos 14 Katy Braves 13 -The Apollos survived a wild opener to their 2005 season escaping with a 14-13 win after leading 11-1. Clifton Siems scored 3 runs had 2 stolen bases and hit a grand slam to carry the Apollos, Jimmmy Hardinbrook also had 2 rbis and Kevin Hall went 2-3 with 3 rbi's and a homer. Sonny Terrazas pitched great going 4 innings allowing only one run. Alex Dutka pitched 1-2/3 innings and allowed 12 runs, he had more walks in these 2 innings than the entire fall season..The Apollos will improve in future. Kenny Stanley, Jimmy Hardinbrook, Richardo Vielma made their debut for the Apollos
